Selvedge
Selvedge is the edging of the Cyclone fence to keep the fence intact.CCyclone fences have three types of selvedges. Knuckle / knuckle, knuckle / barb are used the most. However, if you need the highest level of security the barb / barb can be used.
The following shows the difference between the two common types of selvedges:
KNUCKLE / KNUCKLE
If there are children or animals that might come in contact with the fence then this is commonly used. Also, it is used when the highest level of security is not required.
KNUCKLE / BARB
When heightened security is required this style is commonly used. The design makes it unpleasant and more difficult to climb over the fence.
